Direct posting to Instagram

Direct posting to Instagram is supported for Business and Creator Instagram accounts (even Instagram accounts that are NOT linked to a Facebook Page 🤓). OneUp also supports adding a first comment, Location tagging, Stories, and Reels for Instagram.


(We wish we could support direct posting to Personal Instagram accounts, but unfortunately these limitations come from Instagram 😕)


However, OneUp supports Personal Instagram accounts via mobile notifications ( see mobile notifications guide)


How to connect your Business or Creator Instagram account


  1. On the Accounts page of OneUp, click the Instagram Connect button:



  1. Then choose Instagram with direct posting



  1. Complete the authorizations


  1. You will see this popup once complete 😊



NOTE: Your Instagram account must be a Business or Creator account. Personal Instagram accounts are not allowed to publish directly, but can post via mobile notifications.
