Cross-posting FAQ - Does OneUp support crossposting?
Post to your main platform, and then OneUp will automatically post it everywhere else
(E.g. post image or video to Instagram from the IG mobile app ➡️ OneUp auto posts it to all your other accounts)
You can find the Cross-posting feature here:

FAQ
What counts as 1 cross-posting workflow?
You choose a Source account, and then choose your destination accounts (can be as many destination accounts as you want, up to the social account limit for your plan). This counts as 1 workflow.
For example, if you choose your Instagram account as the Source, and select 9 other social accounts as the destination, that is only 1 cross-posting workflow.
Does this work with both image posts and video posts?
Yes, cross-posting works with both image and video posts. However, image cross-posting workflows and video cross-posting workflows need to be created as separate workflows.
How many cross-posting workflows can I add?
That depends on which plan you are on:
Basic Plan - 1 workflow
Intermediate Plan - 3 workflows
Growth Plan - 5 workflows
Business Plan - 8 workflows
Need more than your plan limit? You can purchase additional workflows for a $5/mo add-on per workflow.
Email us at davis@oneupapp.io to purchase more workflows.
Will cross-posting work with thumbnails that are added to the video?
Yes, videos will cross-post to the Destination account with the thumbnail when Instagram or Facebook is used as the Source account.
If you use TikTok as the Source account, thumbnails are currently not supported and wont be applies to the video on the Destination accounts.
Note that if YouTube's API does not support thumbnails on Shorts, so if YouTube is the Destination account, it will post without a thumbnail.
Does it matter if I post the video to my Source account directly on IG/FB/TikTok vs posting it via OneUp?
Nope! You can post the video directly to your Source account from the Instagram/Facebook/TikTok app, or you can post it via OneUp. Either way, it will automatically get posted to all your other selected social accounts.
How often will it check for new videos to cross-post?
OneUp checks every 2 hours if a new video has been posted to your Source account.
Can I add a delay if I dont want it to post to my Destination accounts right away?
Yes, you can add a delay so that it only posts to your Destination accounts after some amount of time:

If I post a video and add music, will that music also be added to the Destination accounts?
Yes, it will post the video with the music to the destination account.
If I am crossposting TO a YouTube account, what will it put in the Title?
OneUp will take the caption of your Source post and put that as the Title of your YouTube post. YouTube has a 100 character limit for titles on videos and shorts, so if your original caption is over 100 characters, it will be truncated to 100 characters for the YouTube post.
If I have Instagram as the Source account, and someone adds me as a collaborator on an Instagram post, will that collab post get cross-posted to my Destination accounts?
Yes, as long as your Instagram account is linked to a Facebook Page (this is due to limitations from Meta's API), any collab posts that add your Instagram account as a collab will get cross-posted to your Destination accounts - even if you are not the orginal creator of the post 🤓
Why can't I use other social networks as the Source account?
Some social network's APIs do not allow using the video as the Source. Currently only Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok work as the Source account.
If you'd like to see another network be added as a Source, please reach out to us on the chat.
Note that you can post TO any social network as the destination account.
Is this allowed by the social networks?
Yes, we only use the official APIs of the social networks to do this. It is 100% safe and approved ✅
I need more features?
Send us an email at davis@oneupapp.io and let us know what you'd like to see add to the cross-posting (on the roadmap is posting from/to Stories, add delay between posts, and add crossposting posts to Timeslots)
