Posting to OneUp from a Google Sheet

OneUp allows you to post to your social media accounts by pasting in a Google Sheet URL (Max of 50 posts at a time).


NOTE: The Google Sheet MUST be publicly accessible.





Here is an example Google Sheet (👈 click to open) of how your sheet should be formatted:



Note that your sheet MUST contain the column headers Content, Post Title, First Comment, Image URL, Video URL, Category Name, Social Account Name, Platform, Date Time


We HIGHLY recommend starting from our example sheet above, to avoid any typos in the column headers.



Important things to remember:

  1. Image and video URLs must be publicly accessible.
  2. If you are using Google Drive video links for your video URLs, the video must be under 100MB (otherwise Google does not allow the video to be fetched).
  3. In the "Platform" field, you will need to spell the social network name exactly as below (not case-sensitive):
  • Facebook
  • GBP
  • TikTok
  • X
  • Instagram
  • LinkedIn
  • Pinterest
  • YouTube
  • Threads
  • Snapchat
  • Bluesky
  • Reddit


  1. In the Social Account Name column, you can put "All" to select all social accounts in that category. (TIP: If you choose "All", you can leave the "Platform" field blank)


However, if you are choosing a specific account, the Social Account Name must exactly match what shows on the Accounts page of OneUp (that means if there is an address in parentheses showing in the account name in OneUp, you should add it here).


NOTE: Unless you are choosing "All", you can only put 1 social account per row.


Reddit format for posting to your profile:  u/username~~profile OR username~~profile
Reddit format for posting to a subreddit:  u/username~~r/subreddit OR username~~subreddt


Pinterest format for choosing Board:  username~~insert board name



What date and time formatting is accepted?

Can I add more than 1 social account in the Social Account Name field?

You can add "All" in the Social Account Name field and then all of the accounts in that category will be selected.

However, unless you are choosing "All", you can only put 1 social account per row.



Does the social account name have to be exact?

Yes, in the Social Account Name field, you need to have the exact  same name as it shows on the Accounts page in OneUp.

That means, for example, if it's a GBP account, you will need to add the parantheses and address that shows in OneUp.



Is there a max number of posts I can add at a time?

Yes, the max is 50 posts at a time.




If a post is added to the sheet with a category, social account, or social network that cannot be found, the post will still be created in OneUp, but OneUp will ask you to manually select the category and account on the scheduling screen.
