Images and link previews

When you add a link to your post, it should publish to Facebook, Threads, Bluesky, LinkedIn, and X with a link preview (for X only if the URL has a X card set)

However, when you add an image to your post with a link in it, the image will override any link preview on Facebook, Threads, Bluesky, LinkedIn, and X.
