Does OneUp compress or downscale videos?

OneUp generally does not compress or downscale videos.

However, certain social networks' APIs require that videos meet their parameters.

For Instagram only: if the audio bitrate of your videos is greater than 128kbps, OneUp will automatically compress the video to have the audio bitrate meet the requirements of Instagram's API.

Also, for Instagram videos with a video bitrate over 25 Mbps, the bitrate will be automatically reduced to under 25 Mbps (otherwise it will fail to publish to Instagram).

For Snapchat only: Snapchat's API requires that the video height is no greater than 1080px. If your video height is greater than 1080px, OneUp will automatically resize it so that it publishes successfully to Snapchat.

For Bluesky only: If your video is over 100MB, OneUp will compress your video to Bluesky to meet their 100MB limit.
